Therapy that helps you better understand yourself and the patterns shaping your life.

Individual therapy, life transition support, and premarital counseling in Houston and virtually throughout Texas.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major transition, struggling in relationships, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can offer a space for deeper reflection, insight, and meaningful change.

At Kintsugi Therapy Group, my approach is relational, insight-oriented, and grounded in helping you move beyond simply “getting through” life and toward a more connected and compassionate understanding of yourself, including the parts of your story you may have learned to hide.

A handcrafted kintsugi bowl repaired with gold seams sits on a rustic wooden table beside a journal and glasses, symbolizing healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Many of my clients are people who have spent years being the dependable one, the self-aware one, or the one holding everything together, while quietly feeling disconnected from themselves underneath it all.

They may feel like they are:

  • constantly carrying more than they let others see

  • struggling to feel fully connected to themselves, their relationships, or the life they’ve built

  • mentally exhausted from overanalyzing emotions, relationships, or decisions

  • tired of feeling like they always need to hold everything together on their own

Therapy can help you slow down, better understand your experiences, and begin responding to yourself with more compassion.

You don’t need to be in crisis to deserve support.

How We Can Work Together

Individual Therapy

Living room with cream-colored armchair, lavender pillow, wooden sideboard with a large vase of purple flowers, framed artwork on the wall, and a beige table lamp.

Therapy for anxiety, self-worth, emotional overwhelm, and reconnecting with yourself.

My approach is insight-oriented, relational, and grounded in helping you understand the deeper “why” behind your patterns, not just manage surface-level symptoms.

Individual therapy offers space to explore the experiences, patterns, and emotions that may be keeping you feeling stuck or disconnected.

Together, we’ll work through:

  • anxiety and overthinking

  • relationship patterns

  • identity exploration

  • grief and loss

  • ADHD-related overwhelm

  • codependency and people-pleasing

  • self-worth struggles

  • emotional burnout and stress

Support for the moments in life that leave you questioning who you are, where you’re going, or what comes next.

Life Transitions & Identity Work

Together, we’ll create space to process change more honestly, reconnect with what matters to you, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

Therapy can help you process change more intentionally rather than simply trying to “push through” it.

Life changes can feel disorienting, whether they’re things you’re excited about or transitions that feel scary.

You may be navigating:

  • a breakup or divorce

  • career changes or burnout

  • shifting family dynamics

  • identity transitions

  • entering adulthood or a new life stage

  • feelings of uncertainty, loss, or disconnection

Intentional support for couples who want to build a healthier, more connected foundation before marriage.

Premarital Counseling

A couple prepares dinner together in a bright, sunlit kitchen, representing teamwork, communication, and building a strong foundation before marriage through premarital counseling.

Premarital counseling is not just for couples in conflict.

It can be a proactive space to strengthen communication, deepen emotional understanding, and explore the patterns, expectations, and dynamics you’re bringing into your relationship.

Using the Prepare/Enrich Premarital Program as a foundation, premarital counseling is offered in a structured, multi-session format that guides couples through meaningful conversations, reflection exercises, and practical tools before marriage. Most couples participate in an extended-session format that allows space for deeper discussion and intentional preparation for marriage.

As part of the program, we may explore:

  • communication styles

  • conflict patterns

  • emotional needs

  • family dynamics

  • future goals and expectations

  • trust, intimacy, and connection

Kintsugi Therapy Group is also a participating provider with the Twogether in Texas program, which may allow eligible couples to receive a discount on their Texas marriage license upon completion of premarital counseling requirements.

The goal is not perfection — it’s building a stronger understanding of yourselves and each other before entering the next chapter together.

An insight-oriented approach to therapy.

Clients often choose Kintsugi Therapy Group because they’re looking for more than quick coping strategies or surface-level advice.

My work is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in helping clients better understand themselves, especially during periods of uncertainty, transition, or emotional overwhelm.

Together, we’ll create space for:

  • deeper emotional clarity

  • healthier relationship patterns

  • self-compassion and self-trust

  • meaningful and sustainable growth

Why “Kintsugi”?

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold — honoring the cracks rather than hiding them.

That philosophy deeply shapes the way I approach therapy.

I do not believe people are broken or need to be completely rebuilt. I believe healing happens when we stop viewing parts of ourselves as something to hide, fix, or be ashamed of.

Rather than trying to erase parts of your story, we stop viewing parts of ourselves as something to hide, fix, or be ashamed of.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable. The process itself shouldn’t.

Therapy can help you make sense of your experiences, navigate change with greater clarity, and move through life feeling more grounded and connected to yourself.
